Hey there

I'm looking to do the chain guide replacement for my 91q. Does anybody here have a recommendation or experience with a shop in New Jersey? My local mechanic suggested a dealership but I would like to get some other options.

Thanks!!

Do a search for Vanmeter, though most matches are recommendations and not experiential. Keith is a former senior Infiniti tech who has struck out on his own.

sponger, Hey. Yeah, I'm the one who got the chain guides replaced by keith vanmeter and was extremely pleased with his work and knowledge of the Q45. If you have any questions feel free to get in touch with me, there is a couple ways to keep the costs to a minimum and some other items to consider replacing while the work is being done. Good luck, Jeff------can call with any questions----610-570-8613

Hey Jeff I talked to Kieth this morning and I'm having the guides done next Monday. Kieth is going to go over everything and make sure all the odds and ends are taken care of. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again everybody - if it wasn't for the members I wouldn't even know about the potential grenade!!

while everything was apart i had a new water pump, oil pump, thermostat, new plugs and covers resealed. much easier, and less $$$, while he's digging around in there (esp. the plugs!!).
