Hi all,

Fairly new to boards and have a 2001 QX4 and looking to replace the rear control arm bushings to fix the sway in the back.

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic who knows how to work on these trucks in the Los Angeles or San Fernando Valley area? Also can you recommend the best place to get replacement bushings?

Any feedback would be appreciated :dblthumb:

I know a good mechanic in the Burbank area.

The name of the place is Chalard's Auto Repair, you can get his location on google, if you let me know and I will give you all of the details. He is located on Victory Blvd, Burbank.

If you want to get moog brand replacement bushings you can buy them from this place: http://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/

If you are not interested in a particular brand you can get yours at NAPA or Autozone.

Thanks robbykennedy for the recommendation, that shop gets great reviews on Yelp. I had already done a search and found a shop called CarZone in Van Nuys which also got great reviews on Yelp and had them do the work. Truck rides a whole lot better and they said my uppers were almost all gone. I'm satisfied with the work they did and customer service and they even installed a new fuel filter I had for free. They specialize in Nissan and Infiniti and they charged me just under $$$$ to replace all 8 rear bushing.

Thanks again :dblthumb:
