well since it's too much of a hassle to fix my broken speedo i was wondering if ne1 knew of something that'll show me how fast i'm going like gps....i dunno how expensive it is or what cheap alternatives there are to speedos....sorry if this thread seems kinda dumb...:D

why dont you try guessing by rpms? just get a buddy to go beside you at certain speeds and figure what rpms your at with different speeds.

unless you want to know exactly, then why is it too much of a hassle to fix your speedo? im sure whatever you do is cheaper than going the GPS route....

i got a sweet GPS from walmart $80 closeouted from $200. or count the lines, something like...if you can one per second~60mph. well on the interstate its close to that.also, on the bottom of the tach under the bezel is shows 60mph=a certian RPM. on my 95.

The Gtech sux on all cars, it reads faster, but it's still a decent tool. Get a turbo timer, like the greddy profec B Spec2, it has Speed on it, or a Conzult thingie, those do speed too, or i'm sur eany electronic speedo which uses pulses will work.
