So for my biology class we write down code names on the scan tron sheet. Anyway, so our teacher puts up the sheet with the grades by code name. I of course got one of the highest grades 86/88 :oface heh, but someone had the code name Daedalus.

This of course being freaky ****, what does the name mean?

I do not know what Robert (Daedalus) means by it, but there is myth historical stuff about the name:

Don't you know your Greek mythology? Seems everyone remembers the story about the guy who flew too close to the sun, thus melting wax that held together the wings. But few remember more than that. Mythology is the storybook of the ages; countless stories have been told throughout time, but very few survive so many centuries.

Yup! :) That was Icarus and Daedalus was his father. The link I provided gives the details (the island is named after Icarus and is where Hercules supposedly found and buried Icarus).

Can't say I know much. Am reading the Iliad now though.

I guess that answers my question.

1) The Iliad rocks. I love greek epics...

2) Daedalus was the answer to a part of the crossword puzzle I did earlier this year :P

Hell yeah, the daedalus attack was the ish! But do you remember the name of the other arm of the SDF1? It was originally an aircraft carrier that got sucked up into the hyper space fold when they first tried it. It was attached onto the ship later on as a make shift arm/ launching platform for the veritechs. Scroll down for answer.

Promethius. If you knew this give yourself negative ten cool points :D

"The Illiad" and then on to the sequel "The Odessey". Great stuff. Ajax is not just a great cleanser.
