before i begin, let me say im a nub to posting on Nico, but i do read! excuse my spelling but thats not why im here.
i just need help
names tyler btw..

i currently own a 91 coupe, i bought it from a gentleman who had bin the only other owner. the bodys nice, and the frames striaght. no cracked windows..plus its a slick top :naughty: this is all nice, but does it run...no. does she even have a motor anymore...no. when i bought the car. it did, and came with the fancy auto transmission too. how exciting. (least i know there wasnt a kid my age beatin the piss out of if before i got my hands on it. lol.) anyways i pulled the motor any transmission a few weeks after i received the title. to find out why it wouldnt start. (pre start up i check all the fluids, oil was waaaaay high. thought that was weird right off the bat.) but after i pulled it, i started breaking it down. realized the bearings on the crank we totally gone, rod and crank we basically one.. as i broke everything down, i kept everything separated, as far as bolts go. at the time, i had a good idea of what went where... but since then, i found myself relocating over several times. ive kept EVERYTHING. buuuuuut, all of what i do have, got condensed into 3 buckets. its a ka24de, and id like to set up a 5 speed in it, a dd aka future project. (currently dirve a single cab, d21. nothing fancy, but its clean 5 speed) but id like to learn a lil more before i move to the rb20. and build this ka first. i have a motor stand and all. im just so baffled, idk where to start. this is still all new to me, im an electronic, and fancy fiberglass guy. but whos got time for that when you have a motor to build! where to start  i have a bunch of new parts as well, new pistons, rods, bearings, crank, water pump and oil pump. id just need a gasket kit.

but where do i start..
