Hey, boost boy, I recieved the power transistor today, put it inbut my car still just cranked without a turnover. I tested the power transistor according to the FSM and the results were the same as my old power transistor...n.g. But then I pulled codes from my ECU and at first it read a code 43 for bad throttle circuit(dont ask me why it pumped this error out becuase nothing was wrong with my throttle circuit, i know.. i checked it). after i checked it, the code changed to 55..for no malfunction.....still a no go. i've been trying to think of what else it could be...i was thinking hardware since it read a code 55. the next thing I could think of are my spark plugs...i bought them new for the car but im not sure if they are good or not. is there a way to test them? or do you have any suggestions for what the prob could be? let me know. Thanks.

well, ill test for spark tonite...i know i have fuel cause when i check my plugs they're wet and black and reek of fuel. actually, i haven't checked my timing, but i was thinking it was good because my engine only has 40,000 km...? well, ill post up again once i can find whether i have sufficient spark or not. thanks

Man, something is seriously not hooked-up on your harness. I would say, seriously inspect that wiring harness and make sure everything has power and I mean all components on the engine.

Ditto from boostboy, I think you have major wiring issue's. I might try and get a new (un-molested) wiring harness and hook that all up. The reason you're gettging a 55 after you check the codes is because you clear them out when you check them. If you try and crank it up again and then check your codes, you'll get the errors again.
