My main concern is to monitor Timming under boost... which both will do, but again, i just wanted to see what u guys recommend and why...

i had both, never hooked up the apexi though because i bought an MDM.

MDM is great cuz it just plugs in, 10 second install. its great to help out friends.

the multichecker has to be hardwired in the ecu harness so removing and installing isnt as easy.

it most likely plugs into the OBDII harness, so if u have a s13 this will not work for you.~Sam

http://www.specialtyz.com/techtom.htm

it doesn't list applications on their site. (the techtom homepage is in japanese. I translated it through google translator and here's the application page:)

Link

applications

it lists the Silvia S13 chassis and 180sx chassis excluding CA18 motor... looks like it should fit the OBDI connectors to me.

(edit) 2nd link down to get the page translated into English Google Ownz)

Because it's a lot newer, has more features, looks a LOT cooler, and most importantly, I'm selling one for $125 less than they list for in brand new condition.

And yes, the type II blitz plugs into any nissan 89-98 via the consult port.
