MD XYZ on stock Exhaust

Can this be done? Ive read that the stock exhaust is 2.5" piping and the XYZ pipe is 3 inch.

Also ive been trying to find dyno info on the XYZ pipe. How much does increase does it make? Is it still useable power? One of the reasons im a little concerned with HFC or ART pipes is while it does increase power gains it pushes those gains around the power band which is kinda crappy to me.

I am thinking of getting a tune soon (would this help remedy the powerband problem?) so id like to know which would give me the most gains and still have it be usable.
