Hey guys, i did some before and after runs between the two different spacers. These two dynos were done one after the other so the variables didnot change. I did 3 pulls with the blox 5/8 spacer, and then 3 pulls with the motordyne 5/16 spacer. I changed the spacers while my car was on the dyno so that the results would be as accurate as possible. The motordyne spacer gained more torque and Hp at all rpm ranges. In the midrange, around 4k, the MD spacer gained about 8lbs of torque over the blox spacer, and around 5000 rpm, the md spacer gained around 9 hp.I was really amazed to see that the md spacer had better gains in the higher rpm as well. Blox was supposed to be most beneficial in the higher rpms, but the md beat the blox in that area as well.I gained around 2hp, and 4lbs of torque in terms of peak power.Overall this was well worth doing a before and after dyno. The midrange power is definetly felt by my butt and dynapack dyno. This was my before/ after dyno, which was performed at Church Automotive, Socal.I have a 04 g35 sedan. Pics of dyno are attached as well. these are pics taken by my iphone so they are not that clear. i will scan it tommorow, and have better pics tommorow. guys if you pick anyhting out that i didnot mention, please let me know. thanks.

The blue line is a dyno with the blox, and the green/red is with the md spacer on.

Vivek...Did you let the car cool before doing the first dyno run?

If not, that "gain" is just a heat thing and is really what I'm assuming happened. I could be wrong and I'm DEFINITELY not trying to steal your thunder, burst your bubble...etc. Just want to be scientific here.

Great numbers, but I still beat you by 14 ponies on Shawn's dyno

If I can only drop 200 lbs of weight off the coupe, then I'd be in the lead for sure lol.

Sways are only half on btw. Got the front done after some "issues". Doing the rears later this week.

could have told you the outcome without a dyno..... motordyne's products have been proven and tested, once again.

Same as the one I made for myself unless you can find me another can with similar properties.

BTW, I peaked out high 250s for TQ. So you've got me there lol.

Vivek!

Nice find man, like I said before, you'll have the best results when you test and tune, instead of just taking the manufacturer's word for it! Anyone want a blox spacer? $75 bucks?

GREAT....Now I guess I 'll have more to do when I polish the inner surfaces and the outer surfaces of my plenum, I now have to mill down my 5/8 spacer too. HAHA Thanks for the info!

FYI....(just cause I know someone will ask why)...(i.e. NATE) I am polishing the outer surface to get a nice translucent powdercoat applied to the plenum and the Injen intake tube.

You're awesome dude. I must be narsicistic, because I like seeing my name hehehe.

Nice idea for the plenum. I haven't decided what to do with mine. Maybe I'll have a full workshop at the house we buy and will actually put some of the CF to use lol.

I mean in the mean time. I'm selling the blox spacer. Actually have a buyer... Right now I'm running a wannabe Mrev2 (which still needs adjustments).

I'm waiting!!! Gotta get something to me before the baby gets here mang! <---"g" is intentional.
