Does anyone know if Mckinney keeps mounts in stock? or if they have to be made?

Mack?

I ordered UH mounts several weeks ago and was told several times they would be shipped out and havent, if they dont ship out tomorrow I am going to just call the credit card company. Tired of being lied to by companies.

We have the RB25 mounts instock right now.

The RB26 mount prototypes are done. Should be out soon....

The mounts come with a new rubber mount so No engine vibration.

I used rb25 mount kit with rb25 block mounts.

rb25 ones sit back further than the rb26 ones giving the crossmember more leverage control over the motors rocking.

GODSILVIA, did you keep twins?

Did you use anything custom made for the swap?

Can I get pics?

Im still using the twins, but I had to completely move the steering rack and push some turbo lines aside. It sounds so simple but the steering rack modifying isn't just a walk in the park.

I had my friend DV8 post pics when I first finished and I must say it wasnt pretty at first but if you go to automotiveforums.com the thread was closed at least 15 pages back by now. The thread is called something like "89 240sx with RB26DETT pics". I will be posting new pics soon including my headwork, but not on that forum cuz they talk s**t and dont know anything to back it up.

So this wasn't a simple thing, there was lots of cutting involved. I dig. Mack, will the rb26 mounts that allow you to put in rb26 with both turbos require any serious welding?

not serious welding but you will have to do heavy modifycation to the steering rack. You will also need to make a custom oil pan for the rwd setup.

The new RB26 kit will allow keeping the TT and not modifing the steering but you need custom down pipes to clear the steering. you will have to move or change the water line and heat shield..

Thanks mack.

DP shouldn't be a prob, but I'm a little worried about doing the water line and heat shield. Do you guys need someone to fix your webpage??

if you change the alum block mounting pads you can use the RB25 on any RB engine (we have not checked the RB30)Our RB26DETT mount will be out in two weeks. they may fit the RB20. If not there next on our list as well as the 240Z RB kits..
