I dunno...they don't have stuffed french toast.

I think it's against to law to knock Cracker Barrel in this town though...

Golden Coral breakfast buffet FOR THE WIN. Cracker Barrel is pretty darn good as well.

Those fast food resturants are for hippies.

Jesda, the Golden Coral is only on the weekends. But they have darn near everything.

Steak, fried chicken, pizza, pancakes, french toast, toast, sausage links and patties, smoked sausage, bacon, fat back, livermush (a favorite of mine), ham, eggs, omlets, grits (southern delight) with or with out cheese, hash, sausage and chip beef gravy, grilled pork tender loins... Plus the bakery bar and fruit. I know I am missing stuff...

Anyway, that is what I do on Sundays after I get of work alot. Take my mother out to breakfast.

Hardees does a big breakfast type deal around here but unlike McDonalds, they give you grits. Grits kicks ***.

But I will say that after this thread, I think I am going to go get me some McDonalds Hot Cakes this morning. THey do have some good hot cakes.

Oh, reminds me, the best biscuit McDonalds has every had and ever will have it the Tender Pork and Gravy biscuit. It is one of those that they only do ever so often. They are flipping awesome. A little messy, but the more gravy the better. (pork loin with gravy in the biscuit for those that dont know this awesome breakfast sandwich.)

Why do people in Hawaii like so much?

Is that true or was that just a gimmick they used in the movie 50 First Dates?

I'm having a Double Croissanwich from Burger King. FAR better than anything McDonalds serves for breakfast. The orange juice is better, too.

Burger King used to have this sourdough breakfast sandwich that was so good. probably the best breakfast sandwich i've ever had. they got rid of it for some reason. it was a sad day.

Spam is actually fairly expensive for what it is.

It's like $3.50 a can, isn't it?

You can go buy a pound of good ground beef for that, or some salmon, or pretty much whatever you want in the same portion size as a can of Spam.

IMO, Spam's biggest selling point is that it's non-perishable, not that it's cheap.

Hell, I dont know. I dont actually eat the stuff. Just assumed something that nasty would be cheap.

But it is a good point about it lasting on the shelf for a few hundred years. If there is every a major earth quake in NC I will be able to survive off that can of fake spam I have in the back of the cabnette.

You people want something in a spam can, lets go for cornedbeef. Maybe a little Cornbeef hash, or cornbeef and cabage. Man now I am getting hungry. Some cornbeef and cabage, black eyed peas, and cornbread would sure hit the spot...
