No the real problem is Wiki is not a proper source for real facts of any kind. Want to figure out how to remove unsightly back hair, wiki. About to involve yourself in an intelligent discussion where proficiency and factualness of your supporting data is required, no wiki If you are cultivating your political opinions from Wiki that would explain a lot.

Thats its purpose, to provide factual information.
If something is wrong, than it can be edited to correct the misinformation.Just don't try to bs because you'll eventually get caught.

And then 15 minutes it gets changed by someone else. Wiki is not reliable; it never will be. Try and turn in a term paper based on wiki cites.
