If she abuses power then the Hillary supporters should be all for her. After all, Clinton abused the NO real power she had as first lady to not get health care reformed. She's abused the power of the Senate seat to launch her bid for the president. I just wish the people in my state would get a clue and vote her useless *** out of office.Reverend D wrote:And she's already under investigation for abuse of power, this country is doomed.
The guy can do whatever he wants in his private life. Who cares. Bottom line is he is good at his job. If it were up to me it would be illegal to report on the personal lives of public figures unless it's felony or higher.Reverend D wrote:He's a cross-dresser though. I'd hate for him to be caught in the act during a terrorlst attack and have to address the nation dressed as a woman.
And yet, still more experience and accomplishments as an elected official than the DNC candidate for president.Reverend D wrote:McCains VP choice...very inexperienced!
Yep, she was an officer in the PTA, the mayor of a town with 7000 residents, and Governor of a state with the population of 670,000 people, which happens to be half of San Diego's 1,311,162. Yep, she's heavy on the experience thing.AZhitman wrote:

Hmmmm.
Actually, the fact that she accepted them instead of trying to use her position to avoid them (if in fact she did) speaks well for her, however, a "couple" of tickets for speeding shows a pretty careless person if you asked me.srellim234 wrote:Original- I agree with you. I heard some idiot reporter today trying to make a big issue out of the fact that she received a couple of speeding tickets in the last year. BFD.
Getting a couple of speeding tickets makes her ineligible to be Governor? Or Vice-President?rn79870 wrote:Actually, the fact that she accepted them instead of trying to use her position to avoid them (if in fact she did) speaks well for her, however, a "couple" of tickets for speeding shows a pretty careless person if you asked me.
Wow! And what is basis for this charge here?rn79870 wrote:I agree it's a very minor thing, and in reality, the VP typically gets driven around.
However, that doesn't change the fact that she operated a deadly weapon in a careless manner when she should have been setting an example otherwise.
And I, for one, am damn glad of that. Thank the Lord we still have some pristine, clean country ... and ethical people who live and work there ... and who we can draw from when needed!rn79870 wrote:Very true. What happens in the biggest state with a population under 700,000 isn't necessarily what we expect in the lower 48.
