Doubt it... then he would have answered the question.smockers83 wrote:How does knowing how to operate a computer have to deal with knowing policy issues? That's why you have people who specialize in areas. And I have to say, I'm sure he knows the basics of a computer...I sensed a little sarcasm.
Technically, that's not what Bush was referring to.smockers83 wrote:

They may be key issues, but learning about or being aware of them doesn't require knowing how to operate a computer. So are you saying we need an IT specialist/computer geek to be President so he doesn't need advisers to take care of these issues? But if we have one of those guys as president, they're not going to know how to socially interact with other statesmen, so they'll need help with that. My point is, you can't know everything, everyone's got something. Obama not having experience and this with McCain are on completely different levels, so much so that that comparison doesn't work.ishkabibble wrote:

I really don't feel it's ok for someone who doesn't know the absolute basics of computers to offer their opinion on network neutrality, intellectual property, technology education, etc. These are key issues right now.
This talk of "that's what advisers are for" is a joke. Number one, the same "advisers" people criticize Obama for experience, numer 2, we just saw what happens when you have a clueless leader. Everyone below him takes advantage. The leader at least needs to have a fundamental understanding of the issues. McCain's statements about network neutrality show that he does not.
what hard hitting criticism. i hope you didnt over extend yourself there...wingFeather wrote:FAKE doctored clip
