Those of you that have used the Mazworx VH to VG transmission adapter...did you put the stock VH flexplate spacer in with your 300zx flywheel?

Car: lots of unique hot rods, and customs, with modern engines, and a good truck to pull the trailer.

If you read through all the posts and topics, you will see that this has been addressed at least twice in the last week or so.

You should not need any spacers, since the bellhousing is being shaved to make room for the adapter. The adapter is not a full circle, it is a semi-circle, that is more of a shim that bolts in place of the old piece. The spacing is the same. that is why all Z stuff can be used. Hope that helps. I have heard of tolerence issues with Dixon, but not with Mazworx. Thats what I know

Thanks Jerry! Will you please send me your email or physical address so I can send you some money I owe you???

Craigztoyz....I'm completely familiar with how the Mazworx adapter works. I've got one sitting on the engine right now, and I've already had 2 bellhousings machined for the adapter. The VH has a few mm thick spacer it uses to space the flexplate out a little bit. I was really just curious if this spacer needed to be used with the 300zx flywheel and 300zx transmission to get the flywheel and starter to line up. Jerry said it doesn't need to be, so I guess the little nub on the crank needs to be removed so the 300zx flywheel can sit flat against it.
