My vote is for the WRX, my friend has one and those things are tons of fun. A lot nicer interior than the evo. And I think it beats the Mazda hands down. The 3 is a nice car but if you are into performance or modding at all I would definitely chooses the Subi

I've always liked the Mazda Speed 3.

I had a WRX STi and its not that roomy inside but does have a decent trunk. The mazdaspeed 3 is pretty roomy for being a compact sedan and has decent cargo room. It's front wheel drive which isn't bad for all seasons but AWD is better (except for those highway pulls, lol). As for the WRX hatch i'm not sure if interior is any roomier than the sedan. I say go to the dealer and see if they'll offer test drives and see which one you like most.

I would say to go with the wrx,

and have a car with balls at the same time ;)
