Your motor mounts look a little tired. What are the plans for the engine?

Yah i know.. i plan on getting nism mounts.... my goal is to hit around 300hp... im getting forged rods and pistons... metal head gastket with some arps... and running a t28 turbo..... and if my bank account can take it i'd like to get some pon cams to drop in before i assemble the head.... hopefully that will take me there....

for 300HP, the rods and pistons are overkill. Like, LOTS of overkill. As long as the cylinders don't need bored out, get new rings, bearings, and a set of ARP rod studs and don't worry about it. Really, I wouldn't even worry about it up to 500HP.

Now if the cylinder walls are done and it needs bored out, you'll at least need pistons. Get the CP's, they fit awesome and no clearance issues with the squirters.

Here are some pics of the cylinder head tear down... surprising that everything was actually very clean.. also valves, valve springs, retainers and guides all spec out almost to all standard values...
