Im looking into getting an Xterra as my 240 doesnt like the snow up here too much and i was wondering if i would fit in one. Ive been told the cab isa little cramped for someone of my stature (6'6" 250)

Also I heard the Xterra was called the "Paladin" in China and was wondering where i might find the badging or nameplatesto switch.

Any help would be appricated, thanks.

You are correct. The Xterra is built in China under the name Paladin. The body styles are a combination of the 2004 Xterra and 2004 Frontier. Just look at those Paladin's fenders and quarter panels.

PS: It has been in the Dakar Rally since they started building them too. How cool is that?

The only thing holding you back from getting the Paladin badges is the ability to speak Madarin (very common chinese dialect in Hong Kong) and call a Nissan dealership in China. I tried myself once and decided against the hassle. As for your 6' 6" frame you might be a little crowded at the top but you should at least try it yourself. The 2007 models aren't much taller at the drivers seat than the 2004 models....maybe an inch tops.

I just saw the news on TV and saw an Xterra with a Frontier front end, and it made me wonder, so I googled "Chinese Xterra" and figured out what it's called, and decided to search NICO.Sorry for bumping this, but I found those pics. . kinda cool stuff. I like the flat tailgate, flares, and Frontier sheetmetal / lights. Wish it was easy to get those parts here.
