maybe Fan Belt housing

ok ive had my 240 for about 3 years now and last year the power steering when out and wouldnt kick back in until 1 grand so i went this year to the oil change ppl and got him to fix it ---- long story short---- power steer works and now the fan is making this loud noise i mean its a noise that i hear over the engine i tired lossening the tension on the belt to try to quiet it down but that hasnt helpped is there anybody out there that can
