"Suitcase muffler" is a high flow dual stainless steel muffler. Care to guess its cost? No performance gain in removing it. Reda Q45tech's posts.

HID with proper focus are nearly impossible without major custom fabrication.

The rest are worthwhile if you are careful, but be aware of the extra costs in suspension modifications lower springs entail.

You have two weeks to read and detail. Patience served you well the first time.

thanks for the input, however i would liike more sound, not looking for performance gains, just to make the car mine you know?

i hear hid's can be complicated doing more research on em

not going to do anything to this thing for a long while

thanks to nico for the great wealth of information you've provided

I always thought the title did that!?

Good luck! Correct the deferred maintenance first and you will be well rewarded.

there is no deferred maintenance, everything has been done to this car, i have all the receipts, also did a good thorough inspection of the car before i picked it up

Well, it is most unusual for a non-NICO car that the plenum has been pulled and cleaned, the hoses and valve cover gaskets replaced, the EGR and IAC valves cleaned, and ATF mechanical exchange of PS and ATF performed, and an auxiliary ATF cooler added, brake, coolant fluid upper links and tension rod bearings replaced, tires and brakes in new condition, and alignment is perfect. That is indeed a great purchase.

How about the rear a model sway bar?

There will be some deferred maintenance. It just hasn't showed itself yet! Enjoy the ride (when you get your license back). Its among the best built cars of its time, and arguably of -this- time.

everything under the plenum looks spanking new, no leaks from the VC 's and all fluids are good to go, new brakes, tires and cardrives straight as an arrow

didnt look for the sway bar.....something im missing?

Congrats!

Start thinking about a transmission cooler ... and if you can find a sway bar off a Q45a, that's the preferred sway bar to add.

quicksilver-looks to be in great condition! my only suggestion is to remove the aftermarket chrome door edge guuards as they visually kill the long flowing lines of the Q- if you must, replace with black ones-only a few dollars at the local parts store!

Looks nice and clean. It's a base model like mine but looks like the previous owner changed the rims.
