Mostly everyone has nowhere near the mods to even use an aftermarket intake manifold. I feel you guys are going backwards, I personally would push for forced induction kits, agressive camshafts, fuel system, etc... and then aftermarket intake manifold.

ITB? Honestly? That'd make a very expensive piece of pointless right there.

I would rather like the look and performance we could get out of them i mean no its no Sr20 or anything ,but just that extra few Hp makes a big difference when you start with very little...And the company usually aint that expensive for any of there work...

Once you start talking Individual Throttle Bodies it gets expensive.

A throttle body is basically what opens up to allow air in an engine. In essence it's a butterfly valve that opens various degrees to allow certain amounts of air to enter the intake to facilitate combustion.

Usually, most cars have 1 throttle body for multiple cylinders. You can also have 2 some times, take the VQ35HR for example. Individual throttle bodies refer to each cylinder/ intake tract having it's own throttle body. This accomplishes a few things. It allows for a more precise amount of control of air entering the cylinder, allows for better ingestion of air and allow for better placement of the fuel components.

Basically it allows the engine to breath better and deliver fuel better, resulting in more power. And by more I mean about 20-25hp for a small displacement engine for a high cost. ITB's are not cheap and are really only necessary on a NA time attack car as far as aftermarket modding. Some factory cars utilize ITB's. The E92 M3's V8 has ITB's for each one of its cylinders.

No problem. Contrary to popular belief I do like to help people so long as they are open to other peoples opinions........and don't have a photoshop girlfriend.

Also the BMW S54 which predates the S65 v8. 3.2L, 11.5:1 compression, 333hp and 8,000 rpm rev limit. That's around 104hp per liter. Getting on the gas pedal is about as addictive as crack.

Cost of replacement engine... Over $8,000.

I agree. And more importantly, none of the mods you mention are worth a damn if you can't get engine management software or piggyback/stand-alone computer to make it all work without blowing the engine up... but the kids don't wanna hear it. A complete supercharger kit for $5-6k is probably the best bang for the buck. After that, intake, cams, manifolds and exhausts are more meaningful. And as a side benefit, if you drive a FI'ed car very conservatively, you could actually see an increase in fuel economy. When you stomp on it, you can really see the needle drop. The down side is you'll have to run premium fuel (91 octane and above).
