Well, I'm painfully close to trading her in. Found what appears to be a great deal and will most likely jump on it. Probably going to be gutting the car to remove the stereo this weekend and she may be gone as early as Monday. We'll see.

I know I don't post in here much anymore, but I still appreciate all the feedback and help I've gotten from a number of you through the years. Basically just wanted to say thanks! And I will keep you all posted on how the trade actually goes (if it does).

What are you going to? Anything else other than stereo that you'll be parting out?

Not much to part out. I've sold some stuff off already. And I'll probably leave the STS and illuminated kicks on there. I'm trying to make it to the dealer tonight to see what they'll give me for a trade-in. May try to figure out if it's worth it to take those two things off or not. And I'm keeping the stereo components. But I will have the custom trunk stuff taken out too and there wont be anything I can do with that. I'm sure if someone wanted it I could cut them a killer deal on it. But that is far too bulky/heavy to ship, so it would pretty much have to be a local pick up. And install of that would be time consuming.

As far as what I'm going to... Well, that hinges entirely on not getting fleeced on the trade in. If they offer me a reasonable amount for the A/C I'll be grabbing a 2011 Nissan Titan Pro-4X crew cab. Black with luxury and premium packages installed and also the tow package I believe. Basically fully loaded sans navigation/sunroof (those are both in one optional package). I need something a bit more useful than the Altima.

Well, not having a trunk is kind of killer. I'm getting tired of loading the interior when I make a big grocery run. Plus, road-tripping across the country with two people in the A/C wont work too well (especially when one of those people is female - and packs like it).

Yeah, they gave me a fair price, IMO. And NICO wouldn't be able to get rid of me. I'm here for life! Probably heading to the dealer tonight, so we'll see how it all goes...

You went with a Pro4X! Excellent choice! I really want one of these bad boys, but I need to pay off my coupe first. I would love to have a truck, but can't bring myself to get rid of the coupe just yet.

The incentives were awesome on the Pro-4X. Drives like a dream, too. It was definitely a little sad getting rid of the coupe (61,000 miles of mostly good memories). But I'm completely happy now. Now I gotta get a few mods done. :D

Like I said, still Nissan so I'll still be around. I'll pop my head in here every now and again. And I'll try to keep answering A/V questions that I can.

As far as the truck goes, already enjoying it. Pretty happy about the memory power seats. Now the dealer can't mess up seat/mirror/pedal positions when I take it to them for service. Next up: tint, step rails, bed cover, a leveling kit, maybe some new headlights and to get the stereo in. I'm sure another ridiculous install will ensue... Once that's done, I'll start on the lift/wheels/tires. I need more money.
