Out of curiosity, Do you not want to be lowered for ride quality or appearance reasons? I got the BC coilovers over 5 years ago and have had a good overall experience with them. Stock ride height is pretty much 'school bus' high.
Just seeing your response:
Being I do a lot of highway driving, I don’t want to be lowered even more considering the stuff I often have to drive over.
Also, I had brought a 4 set of shocks meant for lowering and idk but: the mechanic could not install them. Even unscrewed as far as it could go. He told me I would then need the whole lowered suspension kit, and I’ve already replaced a few control arms. I ended up having to box it back up and return on eBay, which was a disaster because I almost didn’t even get my full refund back. I was glad to found it because it was a lot cheaper than the BC coilovers, but I just don’t have the techs in my area to do that kind of modification. And my tires are stock, I would have little room in my wheel well.
I kinda prefer the school bus height lol, but consider it the right height for distance traveling. Especially when everyone around me has pickup trucks.
Right now I’m still in a bind looking for struts. One site would send it to me from Japan, but it would be $1,000 for just 2 front strut assembly but no parts. Another company offered to sell me 2 coilovers for about $800.
My other vehicles have quick strut options, but I’m stuck with discontinued or having to spend extra labor and parts. And right now, the passenger front strut is BAD BAD lol. I am running thin on time to replace, as I’ll definitely need a new set before rainy season and winter sets in.
