I have a 2004 nissan pathfinder LE. im looking to put some new rims and tires on it and i need to know the maximum wheel as well as tire width that can fit on them as well as maximum mounted Tire Diameter to avoid rubbing etc. I'm looking for an outside diameter and total width basically. The Rims i am looking at are 20 x 9 and the tires I'm looking at are 265/50/20 which have a mounted diameter of 30.07 and a width of 11.02 for example. i know thats pretty wide but im looking to do it. but i want to know if i can put larger diameter tires on without lifting the vehicle or if that width alone at that size will be too big. any help apreciated. PS this is my first post on here..Thanks in advance! Ryan

ive got 275/45/20, i get some rub turning full lock one direction, but its just hitting plastic. You can cut and trim wheelwells if theres issues. I havent had any at all. My q is a 99, and it seems like the wheelwells in the newer R50's are a little more spacious

thanks for the input. What tires do you have so i can maybe look up the mounted width and compare. A tire size calculator says my wheels would be about 0.7 inches larger than yours which isnt bad but im more worried about width of the tire than anything.
