Thinking of buying a used 1991 M30 .... but .... it has 160,000 miles on it...
I dont want it to die on me in like a year or two ... So does anyone know whats the typical or maximum mileage you can get out of this car ...

the sohc v6 is one of the most dependable motors nissan ever made. im on 190k..leaky front/rear mains, burns oil, and little piston slap on cold starts..probably needs a timing system tune up here soon.
only thing i've done to it is a new starter, thermostat, and a water pump(while i was doing the thermo because i had access). everything was oem that i took off. so 189k for factory parts....eyah, pretty good huh? got it almost 2 years ago with 148k. got 400miles to the tank on one trip(yeah, only should be 22mpg)
just need to make sure the suspension is in good condition.
