Vehicle is running rough/missing hot/cold, day/night. White smoke comes out of the exhaust until the vehicle reaches operating temperature (needle is halfway) and continues to run poorly with a lack of power minus the smoke.

List of items checked

-Complete ignition system (cap + rotor + plugs + wires + Optical p/u in distributor + amplifier) Im getting a good spark from all the plugs.-All injectors were recently replaced and I recently ohm checked and listened via screwdriver and all are operating A+. MAF confirmed good. Alternator is not an issue, no vacuum leaks.I have tried disconnecting plug wires to see if it was a certain cylinder, but no change can be noticed between them. No coolant is leaking, I have monitored the level for over a week.I performed an oil change and replaced the #3 injector+ o-rings. I thought was NG (18ohm) and put in a known good inj. After I put her back together she ran normal for 2 days then back to the missing and no power. Inj #3 still checks out good.

Next is a leak down test, but I dont think that is a problem because if it was an internal problem (valves / rings), how could it run good for two days and then go back to how it was before

It almost seems like its is dumping to much fuel?? Poor gas mileageSorry for the long post, but I wanted to give as much detail as possible.

Any ideas??????????

That's what it sounds like to me. Is it possible that an injector o-ring was pinched during installation? Do all injectors have pintle caps?

I have noticed a leak at injector #1, a slight hissing after the vehicle is turned off, and the tell tale brown stain down the side of the rail housing.

Looks like the intake has to come off.....again.

While I'm in there I will take the valve covers off and check the valve seals (which I replaced last year = aftermakert seals) which I dont have much faith in. I should have went OE, because I noticed after the seal change she burned more oil, but never smoked until now.

I can also smell oil burning from the exhaust, but the smoke is white (cant see a blue tint to it) but it is possible it is a combination of excess fuel and oil burning...

What do you think

I have called Nissan today to order the parts (inj o-rings, up man. gasket, valve seals and a fuel filter).
