On the 4th gen... rev limiter cuts fuel or ignition? I am assuming fuel

I know the aftermarket MSD coils offer adjustable rev limiting, so I would assume the factory setup would be ignition based and not fuel based...

injectors are shut down on limit cut off. So as not to send HC's out the pipe.

BTW on 6 cyl it is only 3 cyl's
