maxima poor pick-up-need help to look into causes

I have a 97 Maxima 120K miles. Recently changed all the spark plugs. The acceleration is still slow. Can some one please give me some ideas where/ what to look for? Thank you.

what octane gas do you burn? seriously, because that could be a simple fix. if its not that simple then SEARCH for an online service manual.
