maxima parts for i30

i have a 96 i 30 auto, do parts for the max work on the i 30...for example intake, headers, exhausts.....basic bolt ons....and how about suspension stuff?

All the parts you listed are interchangeable. All engine components, suspension, exhaust, etc are the same.

Basically everything but major body parts is interchangeable.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but is the front bumper different for the 4th gen maxima and i30?

I think it is because IIRC the I30 has the grille integrated into the hood whereas the Maxima has the grille in the bumper.

thanks for responding.. i'm thinking i will just have to break down and buy a new one from the dealership. even the freakin salvage yards in my area dont have it.

PBfreak is correct. Bumpers and hoods are not interchangeable (nor are the front quarter panels due to the difference in how the bumper and quarter panels match up). Even if they did match up, it would look wrong, since the I30 has detail trim along the bumper line and the Maxima doesn't.
