I've never wired up the N60, is the plug the same as the N62(300ZX)? If so you can use the diagram in the FAQ.

I was searching for N60 MAF wiring and came across this thread. Is it the same as that 300zx MAF??? I have 5 wires/4 plugs coming out of my N60 MAF.

I have an N-60 and I wired it just like an N-62. The "F" wire is not there on the N-60 and that is one of the wires you delete anyway.Of course, my car is running super richright now, but I'm 99% sure my problem is ecu related. Jason at E-mance said he is no longer going to tune for the N-60 maf because of a lot of problems with them.Good luck and post back your results with the N-60.

it wires the same as the N62, just wire the two grounds, one should be ground to the engine bay some where.

Do you mean to run a wire from the ground wires to a ground in the engine bay? What would happen if you didn't? My ecu is stuck in safe mode and I'm running super rich and can't find out why.

Try resetting the ECU. What he means is there are two ground wires on the MAF. One goes to the ECU and one goes to a seperate ground of your choice. A screw into some sheetmetal will work. By safe do you mean it's not revving past 2500? That would be a MAF issue for sure. Are your SAFC or ECU settings set to the N60? Whats the output voltage of the MAF at idle?

Check my thread " today is the day" to see all issues, but here is a quick run down. Ecu tuned by e-mance. runs super rich won't idle for sh*t. Fouls plugs in record time ( just a few minutes)So I need to run a separate ground? Could this be the cause of my woe?

I have read through this thread and checked the FAQ but it is still unclear on where the two extra wires go. I understand one is a ground and is to be grounded somewhere in the engine bay, but what about the fifth wire?

Here is a picture of what the N60 pigtail looks like, can someone identify what is done with each wire. I think this would be helpful to not only myself but everyone else trying a wire up a N60 MAF.

The two grounds from pins C & D get connected together, and soldered to the black 240 MAF wire. Pin B is the 0-5 volt sensor signal, and that connects to the white 240 MAF wire. Pin E is the 12 volt power wire which goes to the black/white strip 240 MAF wire. Any other wires are not used. Tape them off.

check your wires again on your maf. there was a website believe it was jwt (not sure though) but it showed it backwards. took me 9 months trying to figure my problem but the 5v signal and 12v source was wired backwards. luckily i bought an safc and it was showing a 30 percent air at idle cause it was reading the constant 5v. hope this helps
