In this article we will be replacing the fog light bulb on a late 1995-1999 Maxima/I30. The pictures illustrated here are of a Maxima the I is very similar.

Time Required- <30mins

Tools Required

-10mm Socket and Driver

Procedure

1-Remove the plastic shield on the side of the light.





2-Unbolt the two 10mm screws on the top and bottom and slide the housing out forwards



3-Unclip the wire connector. Note-Pay very close attention to not to damage either end of the connector. Use a small flathead screwdriver.





4-Unscrew the black water-seal and unhinge the rear swing attachment.



5-Plug in your bulb of choice and align it within the housing. now, close and secure the swing-door then replace the black water-seal you just removed.Note-The bulbs only fit in one way pay close attention to the aligning tabs or the lights' aim will be off.



6-Take a look at your housing and make sure you get the tab into the plastic hole, then fasten the 2 10mm screws back into place.



7-Re-install your plastic side shield



8-Snap the plastic clip back into the shield to hold it in place
