Hey all, lookin' for expertise: My maxima has the intelligent key setup. When I push the button to unlock the door, they unlock and immediately lock. It's gotten to the point I have to snatch the door open before it locks back up. I also had the front windows down and the ignition in the on position, playing the stereo. All the sudden, the front windows rolled up automatically.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know...I'm hoping I don't have a major fix here...please HELP!!!

Thx

i'm no expert on the '07 but it sounds like a short or jumpy fuse :-/. if I were u I'd start by disconnecting the negative terminal for 10mins, then checking all the related fuses...radio, doorlocks, window motors, dash lights, etc.

Check the relay in the interior fusebox. Mine was not fully seated. Made sure it was secure and problem was resolved.

If the fuses and relays are working, then you may have loose connection or defective harness/control switches, especially on the driver side door control.

Thanks for help. I did open my interior fuse box and knocked at every fuse and relay to try seat them, i don't know if this was a problem, but my locks work normal now. Let see if it will last.

Is there a specific fuse involved with this problem. I am having the same issue with my 2006 Maxima. On the interior fuse box, there are very few labels. I didn't see any sitting loose, but if there was a specific one I should check.Thanks.

There's a relay in the fusebox under the steering wheel. At least that's the location on my 2007. I just pushed mine in to secure it and resolved the problem. I was cleaning my interior and knocked the fusebox cover off. I believe I knocked it loose then.

Thanks, do you recall if it was one specific fuse? I'll check it today. I've heard there can be relay issues in the door itself, but I wanted to check some simple things first.

Does anyone have a specific fuse diagram for an 06 maxima, so I can figure out which fuse controls the power locks?

Problem went away after one week of auto-locking.... hopefully it will not return
