With this system can i still not get a new face plate and keep the old speakers and put a sub in it the car is a 95 Maxima

If it's an acutal Bose system, you are limited in your options.

The Bose outputs a low level (millivolt) signal versus and high leve (speaker wires/wattage) and does not have RCA's. There are a few adapters that will allow you to either replace the HU and keep the speakers or vice-a-versa.

Wes (elwesso) recently installed an amp & sub in his Bose system Q45, so if you're looking to just add some low end you can do it without replacing alot of other parts.

Is something "broken" or are you just looking to make an upgrade/change?
