I have read a lot about the a/c blower being stuck on an issue with the blower amplifier control module. I have an 04 and the blower is stuck on high. I know how to get the glove box off but am just not sure wht to look for whrn I get back there. Can anyone help..maybe a picture, color or something that can point me in the right direction. I have access to a wrecked Max so i should be able to get the part pretty cheap.

Thanks!

Thanks! I think I have found it. Is it a piece with a white bezel on the front and a big "fin" sticking out the back? Without it in place the blower does not operate. Is there a way to check and see if this is the faulty componet?

I have no idea what color it is, but the diagnostic procedure for the blower motor can be found on page ATC-70 of the above link.

OK..so I went and got the blower module today, plugged it in and everything worked great. The later I got in and the blower will not come on at all. So have a messed something up? Do I have a short somewhere that is causing the modules to go bad? Are there specific fuses/relays that are associated with the blower motor?
