Maxima Alternator

Hi Everybody,

I found an alternator with part number 23100-7Y020. Seller said it is good for 2004 to present Maxima with 3.5l engine. My question is, is it good for my 2003 Maxima with 3.5l engine?

What is the alternator part # for your 2003 Maxima? Or you mightgo to the junkyard and see if they have both and compare themby sight.

The part number applies to 04-08 Maxima. There is another model for 02&03 Maxima. The mounting holes for these alternators are different so it will not work in your car. You can get an OEM alternator from IoS (infiniti of Scottsdale) for @ $264, about the price of alternator from Autozone.
