Maxima a/c freeze up

I have a 2000 Maxima SE. Have replaced a/c compressor, radiator fans, dryer, low side switch. Car has "climate control" and it seems like something is not telling the compressor to shut off when the desired temp is reached in the car. It keeps blowing cold air until it freezes up(usually about 45 min to an hour of driving).Any advice would be appreciated. I feel like I'm just throwing $$ replacing stuff that may not be the problem.
