Maxima 98 MAF can be swaped to another kind of maf?

Guys,

I`m just looking for a New MAF sensor for my Maxima 98, On amazon it`s 200 bucks... And when I see the MAF for the 2001 maxima MAF it`s only 80 Bucks.

Can I buy this one and adapt the plug for the 2001 MAF?

If yes, how to do it? What is the pinnout?

Courtesy Parts says the 22680-2Y001 Maxima MAF is compatible with 04/1999 up to 06/2001 Maximas with VQ30DE engines. This specific sensor also functions as a replacement for the MAF sensor on VQ35DE equipped 2001-2004 Pathfinders. The pinout for the MAF sensor is the same between 98 and 99 Maximas, but that doesn't guarantee that it'll work.
