Maxima 1999-2001 model ECU to 1996 Engine conversion. How do I enable security?

I have a 96 model Maxima engine with harness. I'm trying to see how I can get a 1999+ model ECU into that car and enable engine locking security for me to use.

What kind of car is this going into? It would probably be easier and more cost effective to have someone that is good with alarms do a good install for you.

i'm putting it in a 1992 240SX. I'm going to be doing it solo.

I'm just trying to figure out the parts I need to buy and weight out the cost to a GPS. But I just might end up with a GPS.
