Very long story short, had a mechanic change my starter. Was on the road and it burnt out. Literally. Put in another new starter myself. Car would crank but not start. Changed virtually everything, spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel pump relay, nothing will work. I should note that no gas is being pumped through the car, which is why I thought those were the issue. Also no gas leaks. The fuses are all good as well. I'm stumped as to what the problem is. Besides it being the computer, but I really don't want that to be the issue bc Nissan charges out the behind for that.

One more thing. When I was changing the fuel pump, gasoline would shoot from the tank line, but it eventually stopped and I assumed it was bc I was on a full tank. From there I continued to change the pump.

Edit** I don't hear any humming from the tank, and I know spark plugs have nothing to do with fuel pump issues but they needed to b changed. There is also this weird relay located under the backseat that connects to an electric plug that's inserted on top of the tank, but auto zone and O'Reilly both have no idea what it is.

Reason why you had fuel coming out of the lines is because you didn't release the pressure by pulling the fuel pump fuse and trying to turn the car on.

That being said, it's possible it could be the chip in the key (immobilizer/NATS system if I recall). I had that happen on my 99 Maxima years and years ago. Cost me like $80 for a reprogram but I had to bring the car to Nissan which cost me another $80 in towing.
