I think I might of figured out my wot cut out issue....I actually used the search feature, and have come to the conclusion that my maf is maxed out. I went out today and did some runs....

First pull: 4th gear; when it cut out afm was 83.6%; Boost was 12.8 psi; Outside temp was around 50 degrees

Second pull: 2nd gear; when it cut out afm was 95.6%; Boost was 13.7 psi; Outside temp was around 50 degrees.

Set-up is:Evo 3 16g, custom header, 3" turbo back exhaust, fmic, walbro 255, nismo fpr, cai, S-afc 2

Afr's are high 11's. Is it time for a z32 maf?? Thanks for any help

Yup, it sounds like that MAFS is at it's limit. 95% is kinda scary. I wouldn't do that a whole lot if you can help it.

yeah...not gonna drive it till I get a n60 or n62 maf. It hit 99.8% at 13.5 psi of boost on the way home At what % is it considered "maxed out"?

Yep! I have a N62 MAF for you. I can even drop it off on Sunday. Just remind me. Ive got a HKS velocity stack for it as well if you would like. Its a really nice piece.

I used to hit 100% on my stock MAF all the time. Never had it cut on me. Strange I guess.

I max out my MAFS with my T25g at 11PSI, it's not surprising that you're maxing yours out Keith. lol

I really need a bigger MAFS, but my tune is safe the way it is right now, so it's not a pressing matter right now.

Keith you need to holler at me before tomorrow morning and let me know if you want my N62. If you don't let me know by then I will not be able to go and get a plug and pigtail for it. My only window for hitting up the junk yard is tomorrow at 9am.

I think a few on sxoc dyno'd in the 280-290hp range on oe afm and injectors.Unlikely a evoIII 166 would hit that at 14psi.SAFC "signal bending" playing a role here, as the abovementioned were tune nissan ecu.

Here is a ca18 corolla having fun @20psi using a safc + oe afm + 550s + walbro 255http://forums.club4ag.com/zero...age=3He had a basic chip to remove fuel cut & rev limit.Ran into problems after switching to maxima N60 afm, where the safc -50% max could not dial out enough fuel in the higher boost/higher rpms. With 440s and a lesser fuel pump, maybe the safc could.

Weren't you getting a chip..... decide on a source yet ? (the rolla guy has one btw)Still on 370s ?
