400 WHP is the safest our VQ can handle and anything above that is just playing with the engine. That was said to me by Tim at SFR .

Id sit down with Vinny Ten and see what he says... im sure if you say it needs to be 400+, it woudlnt be a problem!

Just realize that if you are pushing over 400 in your A/C, you're going to have some maaaaaaaaad problems trying to steer the car...a FWD car is not meant to have such power, nor can it really handle it...

I will probably keep it around 350-375whp...but im not sure about the clutch next. I wanted to do clutch and flywheel at the same time but no one makes a flywheel for the 3.5 just the clutch only so i may just do that

HR is only in the 07+ sedan and the 07+ Z (I believe, may be the 06 on the Z).

HR and the REV-UP DE engines supposedly have beefed up internals. Not sure about the Rev-up, but the HR does.

I would be leary about putting down 400 hp to the wheels on an A/C. Maybe with an Limited slip transaxle...? A suspension specialist who knows how to deal with torque steer might be able to get the suspension tuned to compensate. Not sure.

I think the vq35 does 450 on stock itnernals.. but ive seen them go up to 700hp with rods...over 800 requires sleaves Im guessing.

over 1000 is sleeves for sure.
