hello, I am getting either a 92-93 240sx fastback in january, but I am in the process of putting together a system right now, I am going to be building my own sub boxes for two 12" subs,,I was wondering what is the max height that I should make the boxes, and what is the max length that I will have...btw I am going to make 2 seperate boxes; 1 for each sub so that if I need to go somewhere and I need trunk space, I can still pound the bass, and have a little more room...thanx for any replies,,,

do it in one box and tell me what the drivers are so i can get air space requirements for them. one box will definately hit alot harder. i had a single 10 in a fibergalss enclosure in the spare tire well, it rocked while i had it.

i run 2 zr 1000w 12's in a single box and only at a loss of 2 cu.ft. it all depends where you want them and how much space you want to save.

If you use a more efficient box design (isobaric or aperiodic) you can use less than the manufacturer's recommended space and achieve the same performance.

Good sub box design source. Of course, you may be just looking for 24x28x14 (made up #'s), don't know if anyone here has that info. You might try the Audio/Entertainment/Security forum.
