I guess it would depend on the size rim and offset. I have 255 40 17 on the rear of my 14 the rim is a 9" with a 35 offset I need to roll my fenders though cuz if my rear suspension goes then im gonna be rubbing

Offset is always a factor.

Ive seen 10.5" +24mm Mustang replicas on the rear of an S14. Not sure what size tires it had, but 275/40 is my best guess. If you pull the rear fenders and use a good offset, I'm sure you could fit any reasonable tire size (up to 295?) on the rear. Unless youre making 124912hp, that'd just be overkill.

Another factor would be how low youre car is sitting...

What width and offset are the wheels? I'm guessing 9" wide based on your tire size. The tire size sounds like it'll fit as long as the offset is good (something in the 25-35mm range). Anything less and you'll prolly need to roll the fenders I think. Rolling is pretty simple and worth it to get that flush look...

I havent seen you post before. Welcome to NICO!

huh not sure what your talking about there. but a 245 40 18 is gonna be a tough fit if you ever plan on lowering your car a lot. id proably suggest a 245 20 18 or something close to it for an 18 inch rim. seeing I have an eibach prokit and my 255 40 17's sit pretty close but then again it might not matter all that much not sure seeing the whole tire/rim combo may just raise the car up but sit the same as mine. maybe someone could chime in on this.

I remember seeing a picture where someone was able to put a 315 in the rear. No rolling of fenders was required and I think the camber wasn't that bad. I was able to fit stock 17" mustang gt wheels with 275s in the rear. Had to barely roll the fenders and my camber was at -2.5.

245/40 tires should not be a problem. the rear you can go wider, but up front 245 is as wide as i'd go. just make sure the offset of your wheels doesn't suck. as an example i'm running 17x8" mustang wheels with 30 offset. the front fitment is perfect, the rear I could def. go with a wider tire.good luck!

Haha, somebody else who has mustang wheels. I usually get hated on for having them. At least now they are flat back and I put bondo over the pony.
