I made some progress with my build today and figured I should finally get my thread started. First off, my names Max and I have an unhealthy obsession with 240s. I had a black chuki in high school that I swapped an sr20 into, the car that essentially gave me the 240 feva.

Last Winter I happened upon a great deal on a kouki and figured it was time to switch things up. mmmmm kouki.

Anyway, I was completely set on a rb25 for the heart of the project until fate gracefully dropped a rb26 into my hands. Short story was: guy had R33 rb26 in s13, had all accessories for swap, most of which work for the s14, great price, sold, in my garage, I cried a little Here are the specs for my build so far.

Specs:R33 Rb26dettRB25 TransmissionStock Bottom end1.5mm oil restrictorN1 oil pumpN1 water pumpoem HGarp headstudsWelded oil panRebuilt head (mostly oem)HKS gt2530sTomei dumpsand more

I got the oil pan, water pump, and oil pump done a few weeks ago. Today I finally got the head on and threw the turbos on. Although I had done an engine swap with the s13 I had never until this point messed with taking an engine apart. Its a love hate relationship with a lot more loving to come when the swap is done. Here are some pics I took of it tonight. Enjoy.

With progress I will post more pics.

Looks to be a great foundation for some greatness.

I'm most likely going to go with dual walbro 255s and 1000cc injectors so I can run E85. We have it everywhere out here, might as well take advantage of it

Sound decision. But the walbro might run out of steam before you hit 500hp on ethanol. I'd have to look into it a little further to be sure or maybe someone else has gotten that kind of power out of ethanol and a single walbro??

well thats why I said dual or twin walbro 255s. From my research two should be more than enough.

I don't think I ever talked with you in person, but I posted in the regional section and asked about the sunday meets.
