Just out of curiosity and well technical reason for a project that I am beginning, how much horsepower are you making from your stock rb25 exhaust manifold??

If you view this thread can you please put a quick reply if you apply to this application. Thanks.

hateeee to threadjack but.. does an aftermarket rb26 manifold fit rb20/25? are the port pattern/bolts same so its just that the 26 is tt that makes the difference?

no the rb26 has a different bolt/flange pattern than the rb20/25

ok cause i was thinking about using a stock manifold to start my compound turbo prototype, but i wanted to make sure the manifold would be up to take to flow enough air for over 700hp eventually. maybe the hks cast would be a better choice?

invest in a good manifold, boost control, response , etc will improve vastly over stock...that stock manifold isnt enough for anything over 400 whp imo... can you make 400-5 on a stock manifold sure but your starting to sacrafice efficiency

yeah i am wonder becuase i am working on a compound turbo kit for the RB's and i wanted a little variety, if the stock mani can flow over 500 then I might make a custom up pipe kit for it, but i will probably stick with making a custom manifold!
