I sent an email asking the maximum recommended drop with GR2 and AGX shocks. The reply said 1.25" even though theyre supposed to be warranted up to 1.5" drop. He also recommended Eibach Pro-Kit springs.Ive seen people post different responses from KYB, but this is what they told me.

cut and paste...

Recommended drop is 1.25 inches for this vehicle.Eibach Pro-Kit springs

So the recommended drop is the same for agx's and gr-2's ? I didn't know that. A ton of people have said gr-2's blow quicker with any drop.

I learned something today.

Huh, he could say whatever he wanted for the GR2, they don't have to honor a warranty for those shocks if they blew due to lowering.

They are all a long stroke damper... they will blow faster with any drop.

The car is never raced and is strictly a daily driver. (the wife evenhas to drive it)

Thank you for your speedy reply. What are the stiffest settings you would recommend for my setup?- LEO

4This is up to you on how firm you want the ride to be.The AGX products have the following approximate damping force values. When adjusted, both rebound and compression damping forces change.

Setting#:Relative Value1 - Same as Factory 100

2 - Same as our GR2 products (10~15% firmer than Factory) 115

3 - 50% firmer than #2 172

4 - 30% firmer than #3 223

For an eight position adjustable product, the damping force values areapprox.the following:With #2 being Factory at a relative value of 100,

#1 = 95 (5% softer than Factory )

#2 = 100 (Factory damping force)

#3 = 107.5 (7.5% firmer than Factory)

#4 = 115 (15% firmer than Factory)(GR-2)

#5 = 143.5 (43.5% firmer than Factory)

#6 = 172 (72% firmer than Factory)

#7 = 197.5 (97.5 firmer than Factory)

#8 = 223 (123 % firmer than Factory)
