Im soon getting a new boost gauge adn manual controller...i always thought the smic wasnt good for more than 10psi...but lately a few peopel have said that 12 is doable......what is the safer boost level to run?

I've always done 14 psi even with the hot desert heat here reaching 115 degrees during the summer.

Why don't you just save up $600 and pick up a front mount Greddy V-spec and then not have to worry about it?
