It is dependent on turbo.

Stock T25 + 370ccs + Stock MAF + Walbro + FMIC

14 psi and you are VERY close to the max limit.

I wouldn't push more than 15 psi on that setup. After that the turbo is way out of its efficiency range.

yeah stock bottom end can handle ALOT. Of course this is with ZERO detonation. Once you start detonating... there is no hope.

I remember Hybridynamics was dynoing their car and the vac line to the wastegate popped off during their session and they ended up making over 600 HP on the stock bottom end lol.

I doubt it will last much with that much power but still very impressive.

Yea, my friend ran 15 on a stock sr20, and blew it. do 12 to be safe cuz if it gets cold out side then it could be like your really running 15 or what not cuz when it gets cold you boost goes up.

correction, s14 t28 and s15 t28 are exactly the same specs, EXCEPT for the divided wastegate and inconel wheel. other than that, they can boost exactly the same (15-18psi)

without a headgasket upgrade, I wouldn't push it past 20lbs of boost. I would say in the range of 18lbs is more reasonable for a stock SR given that it is tuned correctly.

I think what you should be asking is, how much horsepower can a stock sr20det make? Max boost varies from turbo to turbo on any engine.

20 psi on a GT2871r doable on stock sr block, 20 psi on a GT42R cannot

As in horsepower numbers on stock sr block at least is 520+ whp from phase2.
