basically:

-3 thingies on top for the filters...you can have more or less-middle holes are for the IN flow of the box-top holes are the OUT flow-top plate is main baffle-lower plate that looks like colander is the oil dripper-in between that goes steel wool-bottom hole is for some sort of drainage

since your gonna be using 1/8" alum..it shouldnt be too hard to cut and drill it...so 8 pieces of flat plates and a pipe cut into # sections for the filter...

you can have as many INs and OUTs and Filters...
I really like this idea, it's pretty much what I was thinking, minus the oil dripper plate; thats a great idea. The only thing is in your CAD pic it shows two of the fitting going in above the baffle and 2 under it. Wouldn't it be best to keep all four above that baffle?

That is a really awesome video Eric, thanks. I had to search a bit since the link you posted didn't work but here is one that worked for me- http://www.nissantube.com/view...uken/

I cleaned up all the wires I've got running to switches and gauges today. Can't really tell too much from the picture but I'll post it anyway.

Put in my carpet and rear seats today.

I'm having some issues with getting the carpet to fit right because I'm pretty sure the carpet that came in my car is from an S14. I'll just use the carpet from my coupe if all else fails.

Went to the junk yard today.

The MAF is from a J30, ecu is a 90' auto that I decided to grab, along with the radiator cap.The thing on the very bottom I found pretty interesting. It's an overflow tank from an SC300. I saw how different the placement was from our cars (in front of the radiator) and I thought the design would help me keep a clean engine bay.

I did some suede on one of my doors today.

I started off by taping around where I will be using spray glue so I don't get too much unwanted overspray

Then I started spraying and unrolling little by little

Tucked in the edges

Cut out the holes and fitted the plastics

Put er' on in! :DAnd there sits a very dusty door. I'm gonna go back tomorrow when the glue is dried to scrape off the excess.

I wasn't quite satisfied with my engine bay the way it was painted, so I painted it again.

Looks a million times better now.

Yeah I saw that a while back on youtube. It's definitely a unique setup but I'm not into all the James Bond stuff. I like to keep it clean and simple but still have some class to it.

Oh, and my car is pissing me off. No fuel, not cranking.... wtf, it started up fine before.

Edit* Fixed the problems. But now I think it's out of gas

Sorry for the lack of updates, it's just not much has happened. My car is sitting until I can find stock injectors to put in. I can't figure out why my car won't stay running until I take out the variables (550cc's) and put it back to stockish. If anyone knows where I can find a set of 370cc injectors for cheap, let me know Hopefully I can get this baby going soon!

My car isn't starting and I couldn't figure out why. It sounded like it wasn't getting any fuel and the fuel pump was choking, so I took off my fuel rail and hooked up the pressure line to see if any fuel would come out of the return side.

Nothing came out and the fuel pump was still straining. So I took off my fuel pressure regulator with an impact screwdriver and took all of my injectors out.

These are the injectors I'm using. They looked fine to me, but I don't know how to tell if my FPR is broken or not allowing fuel to pass or something. Anyway, here's how she sits now

Anyone know whats going on?

Also, could a Moderator please move this to the SR20 rear wheel forum? Thanks

Touge.....Have you tried leaving the injectors plugged in the rail and than take off the rail. When the injectors are pulled out with the rail, you can turn the key to see if there is any gas coming outta them. At least that way it would eliminate one problem. Next after that, than yes i would replace the FPR so go ahead and order one now.

Are you sure? I had it like that before and my car was running deathly rich, ... I mean my garage seriously looked like a gas chamber. Everyone I know around here keeps telling me to put the pressure line coming off the fuel filter to the FPR

I honestly don't remember where I got my battery from hahahah. I just Froogle searched Odyssey battery and found the cheapest website. I got mine for around $120 which is how much they are just about anywhere.

Anyway, I'm thinking of just going with a GReddy short runner and a top feed setup. I've been wanting to do it and if this rail is broken then it just might be time for an upgrade. I got a few new parts too

And just because I'm bored...

Enjoy!

I didn't do this because i know that the injectors are working since I've had the car running before and I don't see how brand new injectors would just stop working for no reason. It is possible nevertheless. Thanks for the input

If its any consilation. I just got a 89 the other day with a SR in it. Bought it from REPO MAN here on NICO. Anyhow, yeah gas factory in the garage....OH YEAH. I just checked my injectors and no leaks, cleaned MAF, still same damn ****. So maybe i can have mine running before you. But nevertheless i hope we both get them going.

I will keep watching this build, it looks great love reading about ppls builds.
