i hit a raised manhole once, omfg was it crazy...damn head hit the roof, about threw the car into a tree...never saw the damn thing.
i got a big FU too man.
sorry to hear your getting stiffed on it, if i were you id get in touch with that old guy, see if you cant come up with a plan together, maybe gather more people together who have hit that damn thing and let'em know how you feel. get the news involved, make a big fuss...you may get somthing out of it and itll probably be fixed.
